We are looking for a skilled and experienced MEP supervisor to join our construction division. The ideal candidate will oversee and coordinate all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing activities at project sites, ensuring timely execution, quality standards, and safety compliance.

Education:
• Diploma/degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise MEP installation and execution at the construction site
• Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, and project managers

 • Analyze architectural and structural layouts to deliver integrated MEP solutions that comply with project requirements and local regulations.
  • Carry out load calculations, system sizing, equipment selection, and layout designs for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems using relevant engineering tools.
  • Prepare, review, and update technical drawings, schematics, and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, and other modeling software.
  • Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and civil teams to ensure seamless coordination of MEP systems with other disciplines.
  • Review subcontractor shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify installation quality and compliance with approved drawings and technical standards.
  • Supervise and support system testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP installations.
  • Implement energy-efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions in MEP system design and execution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in coordination with consultants, vendors, and clients.
  • Contribute to improving internal design standards, workflows, and technical knowledge sharing within the team.

 • 8–10 years of professional experience in MEP design, supervision, and execution of villa, commercial, and high-rise developments.
 • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
 • Proficiency in design software such as HAP, Duct Sizer, Dialux, ETAP, AutoCAD, and Revit.
 • Familiarity with international codes and standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, DEWA, and MEW.
 • A valid driving license is mandatory.
 • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
 • Age preference: 35–40 years.
 • Flexible, proactive, and able to work under pressure with extended hours when required.

 • Prepare comprehensive BOQs, cost summaries, and tender packages for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
 • Assess and compare vendor and subcontractor proposals to ensure technical compliance and cost efficiency.
 • Monitor project expenditures against budget forecasts and implement cost control strategies.
 • Track and document variations and change orders, ensuring timely submission and contractual adherence.
 • Validate subcontractor invoices, resolve quantity discrepancies, and support final account reconciliation.
 • Collaborate with project teams to align commercial planning with design intent and construction progress.
 • Contribute to value engineering initiatives by recommending cost-effective alternatives that meet performance and regulatory standards.
 • Ensure all MEP works conform to project specifications, contract terms, and local authority regulations.
 • Prepare interim payment applications and assist in managing project cash flow and financial forecasting.
 • Participate in pre-contract activities, including bid analysis, tender evaluations, and risk assessments.
 • Deliver regular commercial reports and cost updates to senior management and stakeholders.
 • Maintain accurate records of all commercial transactions to support audits, claims, and project closeout.

Qualifications & Skills

 • Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, mechanical/electrical engineering, or a related discipline.
 • Professional certification (MRICS, RICS, AIQS, or equivalent) is preferred.
 • 8-10 years of experience in MEP quantity surveying, ideally on high-rise or mixed-use developments.
 • Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction processes, and commercial management.
 • Proficient in Candy, CostX, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel.
 • Familiarity with FIDIC and other international contract standards.
 • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
 • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
 • A valid driving license from the GCC or Bahrain is mandatory.
